Overview

The Lead Generation Specialist (LGS) works with the Sales Team and Marketing Team to identify new company sales opportunities within a specified vertical and/or designated geographic coverage area.  The LGS will generate calls and emails to prospects that are identified through various efforts, including lead lists, target campaigns, seminars, the company CRM system and other lead generation resources with the goal of converting leads into qualified sales opportunities. This position must have a strong understanding of the company and product portfolio and be able to accurately communicate the value propositions of each over the phone. The successful candidate will be professional, responsive, punctual and a motivated team player who is interested in building a career while helping to grow the business. The LGS will report to the Director of Sales Enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Research account hierarchy and make outbound calls within respective vertical/geographic region
  • Researching prospects, understand references and competitors.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly activity quotas for outbound meetings
  • Utilize phone and email to communicate with prospects
  • Work with manager to develop and execute strategies for marketing campaigns
  • Effectively execute team techniques and scripting to demonstrate company/product value proposition to prospects
  • Update records and activities in Salesforce.com in a timely manner
  • Recall and share Four Winds Interactive information from memory and from the company website
  • Manage outbound campaign calls and future follow up for vertical teams
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Experience & Education:

  • High School degree required
  • Associate’s, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work or military experience, preferred
  • One+ years related sales, software or similar experience and/or training

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to develop effective selling strategies for enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate the company/product value proposition.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical acumen.
  • Proven ability to close prospecting calls for next stages of sale.
  • Ability to grasp understanding of a technical solution.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and positive team player.
  • Demonstrated objection-handling techniques and methods.
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Salesforce or other CRM system
  • Familiarity with company organization charts
  • Understanding of C-level roles and responsibilities
  • Knowledge and experience of conducting inbound or outbound sales phone calls
